Lawn Bowls
47th ANZRI Carnival, held in Bunbury WA - 15th to 26th March 2026.
The ANZRI Lawn Bowls Carnival was played at Eaton Bowling Club with 20 players from New South Wales competing against teams from Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria and New Zealand.
In the morning games, NSW had representatives playing in Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours.
In the Afternoon there were 16 players representing NSW in the Test Series, along with 4 players representing NSW, in the Anderson Trophy.
NSW were fortunate to beat NZ in the Test series but unfortunately, lost the 3 other games against QLD, WA and Victoria.
QLD were crowned eventual winners in the Test Series, with WA, finishing as runner-up.
The morning games, the finals were held on Wednesday 25 March, for the winners of each section, from the Morning games NSW were represented in the Pairs, playing Victoria in the Final.
Eddy Rose and Ian Neill played really well all carnival and unfortunately, were beaten by Victoria in a great finals game.

The next Carnival well be held in New Zealand in 2028.
